THE LIBRARY

Little Ballet

Shiny floor, clear mirror, and decent lights. Inside the storage, there is a box. A box that was kept hidden for so long.

Little Ballet went into the storage area, which was off-limits to Ballets. Out of curiosity, it discovers torn tutus piled up. One thing kept it glancing, a box.

The box was dusty, and so she decided to open it. As it opened, it swallowed her.

Hours went by, and the Little Ballet was nowhere to be seen. The ballet mistress went to the storage, and there it was- the box that was dusty before, now all shiny and bright. It knew that the Little Ballet was swallowed, but the ballet mistress could not do anything about it, so it placed a sticker, labeling "Little Ballet". Now the ballet mistress's collection had 13 boxes under the piled-up torn tutus.

POEMS

Small fragments of thought and sorrow shall rest here.

FICTIONAL WRITINGS

Records from worlds that do not exist — yet somehow breathe.

LETTERS

Humans are toxic. Or at least, that is what people say.

It sounds simple, but we act based on our thoughts, emotions, and feelings—especially the ones we cannot control. If someone yells at you for no reason, and you already have anger in you, do you think you can always hold it back? Maybe. Sometimes.

You always have a choice, but emotions often take over. That is when things are said or done that were not really meant. And that is why people start to think humans are toxic.

It is the society we live in.

Mother.

I woke up late in the morning, expecting nothing but endless chores from a yelling mother.

She is annoying, unpredictable, and often harsh with her words. But sometimes, we bond like any parent and child would.

But why is that?

Some nights I cannot sleep, and too many thoughts come at once. One of them is my mother. Even when we fight and disagree, she is still human, just like me. It is not that she is always the “bad” one. It is simply that humans make mistakes, and I understand that.

“Everyone Leaves Eventually”

"Everyone leaves eventually."

That line kept me in a haze for a moment, because I realized the people I cherish had already started to leave, even before I ever heard it.

People leave in different ways, and some of them are unexpected. That is why we should learn to appreciate the presence of those who are still with us—especially the ones who stay through the hardest times.

To the Person Reading This,

I don’t know what you’re going through right now, or what kind of day you had. But I just want to say I’m glad you’re still here.

Some days are really heavy, even if nothing “big” is happening. You just feel tired, or empty, or like everything is too much. And if that’s you, then I hope this somehow reminds you that you’re still doing fine just by continuing.

You don’t always have to be strong or productive. Sometimes just getting through the day is already enough.

Things change even when it doesn’t feel like it. You just don’t always notice it right away.

Thank you for existing long enough to arrive here.
